The current outbreak of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease has spread across borders through travelers, conveyances,  which has prompted demands for the detection and management of suspected cases at points of entry (POE), including ports, airports and ground crossings, on board conveyances. At the end of the course, participants should be able to: outline the core capacities and put in place mechanisms that facilitate the management of ill travellers suspected to have COVID-19 at points of entry and on conveyances of all types.
