In the service, you will find information compiled on the state, need for, quality, effectiveness and costs of social welfare and health care by wellbeing services county and by municipality.

The information is based on the social welfare and health care cost-effectiveness indicators (KUVA).

You can use the data in the monitoring and evaluation of the social welfare and health care organised by the wellbeing services counties and in knowledge-based guidance and management.

The web service is provided by THL.

Two separate knowledge bases are available for the set of indicators:

• The updating knowledge base always shows the latest figures for the indicators.
• In the frozen knowledge base, the updates of the indicators have been interrupted to describe the situation at a certain point in time so that the situation picture used for guidance is based on uniform information from the same point in time. The figures that were available for the indicators at the time of freezing the knowledge base are presented for one year.
