    Description

    The Injury DataBase (IDB) was officially launched in Malta in September 2004 to join other EU countries. The Directorate for Health Information and Research is the responsible body for the compilation of such data. At the moment data is being collected regularly from the two main Accident and Emergency Departments in Malta - Mater Dei Hospital and Gozo General Hospital.

    Funding

    The Registry is part of the Directorate for Health Information and Research and is wholly funded by the Government of Malta.
